At Pareto, we are committed to making a meaningful difference in our community, and we are thrilled to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2025 is The Christie Charity. As one of the leading cancer centres in Europe, The Christie provides world-class treatment, research, and care for cancer patients across the UK.

ABOUT THE CHRISTIE

With a history dating back over 100 years, The Christie has been at the forefront of cancer care and research, pioneering new treatments and providing hope for thousands of patients. It is one of the largest cancer treatment centres in Europe and a leading institution in research, education, and innovation in oncology.

The Christie’s patient-first approach ensures that individuals undergoing cancer treatment receive not only the best medical care but also the support and comfort they need during a challenging time. Their cutting-edge research facilities and clinical trials continue to push the boundaries of cancer treatment, offering patients access to the latest advancements.

FUNDRAISING TARGET

In 2025, our fundraising efforts will focus on The Advanced Scanning and Imaging Centre, a critical facility at The Christie. Nearly every patient at The Christie relies on this centre at some stage in their treatment journey. The facility plays a crucial role in diagnosing, planning, and monitoring cancer treatments with state-of-the-art imaging technology.

Our support will help:

  • Expand and improve facilities to enhance the overall patient experience
  • Create a more comfortable and dignified environment for those undergoing scans.
  • Increase capacity to reduce waiting times and improve accessibility.
  • Attract world-leading practitioners to continue delivering the highest quality care.
  • Futureproof the service by supporting ongoing advancements in imaging technology.
HOW YOU CAN HELP?

Throughout the year, we will be organising various fundraising events and initiatives to support this vital project. Whether through corporate donations, employee challenges, or community engagement, we aim to raise our fundraising target to £12,500 and every contribution will make a lasting impact for cancer patients at The Christie.

We are incredibly proud to partner with such an outstanding organisation and look forward to making a real difference in 2025. Stay tuned for updates on our fundraising activities and ways to get involved!
