The policy will pay a tax-free lump sum on diagnosis of a critical illness. Commonly covered conditions include cancer, heart attack, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and kidney failure.

This is usually a multiple of salary but can be a fixed amount. It is designed to ease the financial burden placed on your employee and their family allowing them to focus on recovery. It’s perceived as a high value benefit and is less commonly provided, giving an opportunity for you to stand out.
