At Pareto Financial Planning, we are deeply committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work. Each year, we dedicate £4,000 to support meaningful causes nominated by our team. With £1,000 awarded each quarter, this initiative allows us to contribute to projects that are not only impactful but also personally significant to our staff.

We are proud to share the recipients of last year’s Community Funding Initiative. These remarkable organisations embody the passion and dedication of our employees, and we are honoured to support them in continuing their invaluable work.

Winton Wanderers Wasps Football Club (March)

Winton Wanderer Wasps offer a welcoming and inclusive environment, enabling individuals to enjoy the sport they love while fostering strong friendships. Entirely volunteer-run, the club’s dedicated team has worked tirelessly to create a thriving community.

Our community funding for Q1 2024 was allocated to providing team kits, promoting a sense of pride and belonging. In a remarkable achievement later in the year, Harry Savage and his team secured their second MYSL trophy of the season. Harry scored the decisive goal in the final, held at Manchester City’s prestigious stadium, creating an unforgettable experience for the players.

Stalybridge Celtic Juniors Football Club (June)

Stalybridge Celtic Juniors Football Club is a volunteer-led initiative offering coaching, administration, and support for local children. This month’s community funding was used to provide essential kits and training equipment, enhancing the team’s ability to deliver quality experiences to its young players.

Wood Street Mission Smart Start (June)

Wood Street Mission, a Manchester and Salford-based children’s charity, supports families living on low incomes. Their Smart Start program ensures children have access to the correct school uniforms, enabling them to feel confident and equal among their peers. Our funding contributed to this invaluable initiative, helping reduce the burden on struggling families.

Team Blue Stars Football Club (September)

Team Blue Stars, a local community sports team, utilised our funding to purchase essential winter kits and rain jackets. This ensured their players were fully prepared to continue their activities comfortably during the colder months.

Branch 14 Coffee Shop (September)

Branch 14 is a cherished local coffee house that doubles as a hub for vital community events, support groups, and well-being initiatives—all offered free of charge. Our funding helped to support the shop’s operational costs, enabling it to continue providing a safe and welcoming space for connection and care within the community.

Monton Green School PTA (December)

Monton Green School PTA (Parent Teacher Association) received funding to purchase a sensory table for their specialised unit supporting children with additional learning needs. This investment fostered inclusivity, engagement, and skill development for children with sensory processing needs, autism, and other developmental challenges, addressing a critical resource gap in education.

The Birstall Belles Ladies and Girls Cricket Team (December)

The Birstall Belles Ladies and Girls Cricket Team is a newly established inclusive team at Birstall Cricket Club. Our funding subsidised training kits, equipment, league fees, and facility costs, promoting engagement, confidence, and mental well-being among women and girls of all ages and abilities. This initiative champions inclusivity and supports the growth of women’s cricket in the community.

By supporting organisations like the above, we hope to create a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond the initial donation. We are incredibly proud of our employees for championing these causes and for their ongoing commitment to making a difference. Congratulations to all the recipients – we can’t wait to see the incredible impact you will continue to make in 2025.
