Pierce

Challenge

An award-winning business advisory and accountancy group based in Blackburn, with no internal financial services offering. A specialist provider of business advice to family run and owner managed businesses, now in its 90th year of advising businesses, they provide a range of services including Accounts, Audit, Corporate finance, Business Tax and VAT, Payroll and Forensic accountancy.

Solution

Given the range of clients and breadth of advice that is required ranging from providing advice on an individual level, up to and including businesses with a multi-million pound turnover, a Pareto Financial Advisor was seconded to Pierce three days per week to help develop the relationship and offer an additional advice stream to its clients. Pareto and Pierce now have a strong relationship, which continues to grow and develop. Both organisations actively introduce clients to each other where advice may be required, and for both new and existing clients, regular events are held for both members of staff and clients to meet and develop the relationship further.

Solution

Clients have responded well and have received advice either on a personal level, or to protect their businesses, which ensures clients are well positioned to grow further in the future and develop a relationship with with Pierce and Pareto. Given the expertise on offer at Pierce, it has been possible to make introductions to a number of Pareto clients, who have received a comprehensive yet personal service from an established Accountancy firm that can advise on any area that a business may need advice. The relationship continues to grow and develop, which is expected to continue in the future as the relationship evolves.
